Lydia Villegas, MD, President

Dr. Villegas earned her medical degree at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University. 

Dr. Villegas takes a special interest in women’s health in addition to her overall interest in health promotion.

Mary McCarthy, MD, President-Elect

Dr. McCarthy is a board certified psychiatrist in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Oregon Health & Science University where she also completed her residency.

John Evans, MD, Secretary-Treasurer

Dr. Evans attended Oregon Health & Science University, and completed a residency Internal Medicine at Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Evans has been an instructor for the Department of Anesthesiology at Oregon Health & Science University, as well as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Oregon Health & Science University and the Veterans Hospital. He is a staff Anesthesiologist at Providence St. Vincent Hospital.

He is on the Board of Directors for the Portland IPA and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Bradley Bryan, MD, MBA, Trustee

Dr. Bryan earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine. He completed an MBA in Health Care at Oregon Health & Science University.

He was the Medical Director at Providence Hospitalist Program and is the current Medical Director of Regional Utilization Management at Providence Health & Services.


Brenda Kehoe, MD, Trustee

Dr. Kehoe received her medical degree and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine. 

Formerly in private practice with Everywoman's Health, Dr. Kehoe is currently the Program Site Director for OB/GYN Resident Education at Emanuel Hospital with Legacy Systems in Portland, Oregon. She is also involved in and is affiliated with Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Health Center. She has been an instructor and associate professor at Oregon Health & Science University in Obstetrics and Gynecology education.

Additional Affiliations: Member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Oregon Medical Association, robotic proctor since 2011, a Reviewer, Obstetrics and Gynecology (Green Journal) 2011 – current, and Reviewer, Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons since 2013


Amy Kerfoot, MD, Trustee

Dr. Kerfoot is a native Oregonian and earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College. In addition, she completed a residency in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University, a Master’s degree Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University, and an undergraduate Human Biology degree from Stanford University.  She practices Occupational Medicine for Kaiser Permanente, and serves as a physician in the Oregon Army National Guard Medical Command.

Honors:  Alpha Omega Alpha, Elected to national medical honor society as a senior at Albany Medical College

Denny Le, DPM, Trustee

Dr. Denny Le earned his medical degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three-year surgical residency in trauma and reconstruction, and was the Chief Resident at Legacy/Kaiser Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program.

He currently is on staff with Cascade Foot & Ankle Specialists, and serves as the academic/surgical attending for the local podiatric surgery residency ​program.

Kellie Littlefield, DO, Trustee

Dr. Littlefield graduated with honors from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and with honors from University of Utah for undergraduate, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and French. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. She now works as an academic hospitalist and assistant professor at Oregon Health & Science University.

Additional Affiliations:  American Osteopathic Association, American College of Physicians, Gold Humanism Honor Society, and Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor Society

Honors: Thomas J. & Nancy Fitzgerald Stack Award, John A Benson Award for Humanism in Medicine, Chief Residents' Award, and Internal Medicine House Staff Teaching Award from Oregon Health & Science University


B. Megan Madden, MD, Trustee

Dr. Madden earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medical. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine, a fellowship in Neurophysiology and a residency in Neurology with the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Madden is currently on staff as a General Neurologist at The Portland Medical Clinic.

Manish Mehta, MD, Trustee

Dr. Mehta graduated from the MS Ramaiah Medical College in Bangladore, India. He then pursued his Internal Medicine residency at Harvard University and where he was named “Resident of the Year” in his final year.

He worked as a Hospitalist with the Providence Health System in Southern Oregon prior to completing a Cardiovascular fellowship at OHSU and was also appointed as the chief cardiology fellow.

Following his passion for Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology, he then completed a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at OHSU. Dr. Mehta’s clinical interests include Cryoballoon atrial fibrillation ablation, emerging technologies in electrophysiology, preventive cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging.

Adam Obley, MD, Trustee

Dr. Obley graduated from the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Obley is a Clinical Epidemiologist at the Center for Evidence-based Policy where he works on a wide variety projects applying clinical and health services research to policy development.

He is an academic general internist at Oregon Health & Science University, as well as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He is also a staff physician at the Portland VA Medical Center.

Eric Burgh, MD, Resident Member

Dr. Burgh earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently an Internal Medicine resident at Providence Portland Medical Center.


Kylie Loutit, BS, Student Member

Kylie is currently a medical student at Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine in the MD/MPH program.

Carmen Gaston, JD, Public Member

Carmen graduated from the Creighton University of School and Law. She is currently working as the Director of Development and Stewardship for the Archdiocese of Portland.

Additional Affiliations:  Board Member, Vice Chair & Chair of Nominations Committee for Volunteers of American Oregon, member of the Marketing Committee for Meals on Wheels People and Board Member of Catholic Charities of Portland.
