  • Summarize the potential risk of transmission of Hepatitis A,B,C, HIV, Flu, and Tuberculosis.
  • Explain and describe the importance of the Exposure Control Plan.
  • Discuss types of personal protective equipment (PPE), work practices, and engineering controls that reduce the risk of exposure.
  • Describe the employers’ responsibilities for protecting staff from bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious material.
  • Describe employer and employee responsibilities when exposed to a bloodborne pathogen or other potentially infectious material.
