    • Explain the four core components of the Simplification Rule
    • Understand the requirements of the federal HIPAA and HITECH regulations
    • Understand Oregon’s Privacy Laws
    • Explain how the Privacy Laws apply to you and your role
    • Describe the consequences and penalties for violating HIPAA regulations
